Chapter 26: Neither Sunny nor Cloudy
Meanwhile, the mood of Yuri who was forcefully dragged out of his room which was his only resting place in the Royal Palace, was the worst.
The Queen insisted he have a tea party with her friend’s daughter today.
Yuri was not very good with girls.
Although he is not yet old enough to debut at evening parties, he has attended tea parties at the Royal Palace and the like.
All the girls who came to the tea parties were noisy, touchy-feely, too young but might have been told by their parents to go, or young girls who would flatter him who is a prince.
Compared to when he’s being flattered, when his brother, Ricardo, attends tea parties, Yuri gets neglected and everyone gathers towards Ricardo.
Yuri found it difficult to deal with girls like those.
Furthermore, the Queen had a similar face to when she brought the educator.
By some chance, Yuri might change with this. Her face was full of hope and anxiety.
Yuri could see that the Queen was worried about his personality and wanted him to change.
He understood it, but wanting him to change meant that the she thought that the current him was no good.
Although Yuri realized that his current state was no good, he wanted at least his mother to accept the completely worthless him just as he was.
Would the girl he would meet today be similar to the noisy girls who keep squealing at tea parties or would she be like the stifling educator and force her reasoning onto him?
In any case, contrary to today’s clear and sunny weather, Yuri’s mood was dark and cloudy.
Still, the girl he was meeting today, Ellen, was neither sunny nor cloudy. She was like a storm.
