After enjoying some bonding time with my children, I was waiting leisurely in the grasslands when the Ouranos returned considerably faster than I had predicted.
Without delay, Heath-san and Bogah-san guided the remaining knights of Valkyra Kingdom into boarding the Ouranos.
「Is it fine to not help out too, Lyle-san?」
「It’s fine. Gotta have the right person for the right job. I play a major role inside dungeons so it’s fine.」
「I’ll let Galahad-san know about this.」
「Stop it! I’ll get lectured by Boss Galahad! His lectures are crazy long, you know?!」
「It seems he’s also correcting Lyle-san as a proper knight. I am in support of Galahad-san.」I
「Wai-, we’re friends, aren’t we?」
「Yes, yes, I’ll be boarding first, okay?」
「Oi! Takumi! Wait a minute!」
Ignoring Lyle-san’s voice, I left Lyle-san and boarded the Ouranos. I had to sub in for Laeva and fly it, after all.
「Oi, Lyle! Get on, fast!」
「Tch, I know.」
Heath-san popped out of the boarding hatch and called out to Lyle-san, and Lyle-san replied begrudgingly but boarded.
I talked to Laeva who was sitting in the cockpit.
「Laeva, let me take the wheel.」
「I’m fine for the time being. When I really get tired, please switch with me then.」
「You sure? Don’t overdo it.」
「Laeva is still full of energy. Now, now, Takumi-sama, please take a seat.」
「O-okay. I’ll switch with you along the way then.」
Backing down, I took the seat next to Laeva.
「We are taking off!」
Announcing so, Laeva began doing a vertical ascent with quite some speed.

Laeva began humming and didn’t even hear me.
When the Ouranos finally reached the planned altitude, it stopped ascending and began flying at breakneck speeds.

「Gyaaaaaaaa! I-I’m gonna dieeee!!」
As the Ouranos accelerated violently, the screaming of the knights from Valkyra Kingdom grew louder.
Even the Sanctuary Knights went pale.
No sooner than passing through the barrier, I barely heard a boom.
A sonic boom…… we broke the sound barrier.
The Ouranos kept flying towards the Demon Continent at incredible speeds, far surpassing the speed of sound.
「L-laeva, I think we’re going a little too fast……」

It’s no wonder the Ouranos came back so fast.
Laeva was piloting the Ouranos at these speeds the entire time.
When I checked our knights’ condition out of curiosity, the former members of 『Lion’s Fang』 Heath-san, Lyle-san, and Bogah-san were relaxing on the ship, as expected of veteran adventurers.
The Fire Spirit Knights samurai-speaking trio Dan, Madd, and Bill, who came along to help power level Valkyra Kingdom’s knights, probably also got used to it because they also looked calm.
