I thought it couldn’t be helped that Margrave Volton and Lord Simon were being annoying.

But I’d rather they didn’t strategize behind the scenes with Madam Lumia, Mimir, Madam Elizabeth and the others, leaving my wives and I out of it.

In a room in the Lodge at the annexed district by the entrance of the Sanctuary, Margrave Volton, Prime Minister Simon of Valkyra Kingdom, his wife Madam Rosary, and the honorary Baroness Elizabeth had gathered.

「So, is Miss Etoile non negotiable for Yggurle Kingdom?」
「Yes, she is an elven child blessed by the spirits to possess the Light attribute. Madam Lumia and Princess Mimir were trying desperately.」

Rosary nodded and answered Simon’s question.

「Is it too much of a stretch to claim that Iruma-dono is a citizen of Valkyra Kingdom?」
「That would be too unreasonable. Etoile-chan and the girls were born in the Sanctuary too.」

The reason Simon, Rosary, and the others were fixated with Etoile, Haruka, and Flora wasn’t because of their high capabilities. In the end, it was that they wanted a firm connection with the Sanctuary.

「Geez, it was only me in the beginning, but now not just Madam Rosary, even Madam Lumia and Lady Mimir were taking part.」
「Naturally so. No one is allowed to have an edge over the others.」

Having worked together in the Government building, Elizabeth and Rosary had a conversation from which you could tell how relaxed their relationship was.

「Still, am I the only one who wants him to have more children since this is the case?」
「No, His Majesty and I feel the same way. That having been said, it would be difficult to increase the number of his wives.」

To Simon and King Valkyra, Takumi should take in more wives than just the three he currently has. It would be even better if they were from houses with close ties to them.

「But from Iruma-dono’s position, aren’t three wives plenty?」
「……so we’re looking for good natured, extremely beautiful, and talented young women…… it’s worth an attempt, I suppose.」
「Oh my, in that case, wouldn’t my daughter do?」
「Madam Elizabeth’s daughter, do you mean Lady Charlotte?」
「Indeed, she is working properly as an aide in Takumi-kun’s house. Moreover, I am not trying to be boastful because she is my daughter, but that girl is beautiful.」

When Margrave Volton and Prime Minister Simon discussed assigning a new wife to Takumi, Elizabeth recommended her own daughter Chalotte, who worked as an aide to Takumi in his home.

「……how old is Lady Charlotte?」
「She turned 18 years old this year. She isn’t too young, perfectly of age, don’t you think?」
「Elizabeth-san, didn’t you plan to have Charlotte marry in hopes of reviving the Vold Barony?」
「Madam Rosary, I am not fixated with the Vold Barony. I would be happy if it was revived, but to live in the Capital now, you understand, don’t you?」

Elizabeth had grown fond of living in the Sanctuary, so she had no inkling to return to her life in the Royal Capital, nor did she want to regain her own territory.

「Indeed. Chalotte would be close by, and the latest fashion trends come from Akane-chan, so we could have access to it first. I, too, have no desire to return to the Capital.」
「Oi, Rosary! Do you not intend to return anymore?!」

Rosary casually announced her intention to live permanently in the Sanctuary, bewildering Simon.

「After all, our children no longer require much care, and I have grown tired of tea parties and gatherings with other noblewomen in the Capital. Ever since you had become the Prime Minister, I had given it my all to collect information for you. Surely, that is no longer the case?」
「……perhaps it is time I retire and immigrate as well?」
「It’s wonderful, the Sanctuary~. The food is delicious, and entertainment is more plentiful as well. The concert hall and church are both splendid. I believe you would do well as a teacher at school too.」
「A school teacher, huh…… it might be enjoyable to teach kids. Well, for now, I will discuss the matter of Iruma-dono’s daughters as well as introducing him to new wives with His Majesty.」

Godwin and Simon seriously began to consider having Takumi take in new wives.

Seeing this, Rosary and Elizabeth thought it best to discuss it with Takumi before talking to the King, but they did not say this to Simon nor Godwin.

They were convinced it would fail anyway.

Having grown closer to Takumi, both Elizabeth and Rosary knew how extremely shy and dense he was.
