For some reason, Fluna and Berkut were discussing something with Sophia and the others in secret, but I wonder, what that was about? It seemed like they really didn’t want me to hear it, so I tried to not listen in, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t on my mind.

Fluna said she wanted to ask if any of her companions wanted combat training.

「Making it completely red would be uncool, so leave that to Laeva and Akane-san.」
「……I get it. Then, we’ll leave the colors to them.」

I felt a bit sad when Laeva said to leave the colors of the armor to her and Akane. She clearly did not trust my tastes.

I asked Laeva to get Lana and the others’ measurements while I think about what sub-weapons they should have.

It was already decided that their main weapon would be the sickle spear. Should they also use the same knife as a sub weapon? Or should we change it to something different?

That’s what I’m thinking, but considering how they’ll be fighting underwater, there weren’t many other alternatives.

「Thanks, Laeva.」

When I asked Lana-san about what we should do for their weapons, they all said it was fine if it was the same as Fluna’s.

I suppose the question “What kind of knife do you like” would stump someone who’s never fought before.

「W-will you be t-training us, Takumi-sama?」

Just as I was about to make their equipment first, Lana-san asked me a question.

「Yeah, it would more or less be Kaede, Berkut of the Aligerous Tribe, or I.」

When I said that, the four of them held hands and rejoiced for some reason.

I was going to take responsibility and train them since I agreed to do it, but I wonder why they were so happy about it.

As puzzled as I was, I decided that they needed equipment first, so we disbanded for the day and I would call them back the day after tomorrow.
